Iran Allocates Nearly 95,000 Land Plots Under Population Growth Law
Iran has allocated land for almost 95,000 applicants as part of its population growth initiative, according to the head of the National Land and Housing Organization.
Ali Nabian, the organization’s managing director, called for faster land provision across provinces during a video conference on implementing the “Youthful Population” law. The meeting reviewed the latest progress by provincial offices of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Nabian said housing for low-income families remains a key priority for the Supreme Leader, the president, and the minister of roads and urban development. He added that nearly 45,000 housing units for disadvantaged groups have been secured so far, with over 30,000 units handed to the Housing Foundation of the Islamic Revolution for construction. The remaining units should enter the building phase quickly, he said.
The official noted that active land development projects currently cover more than 4,000 hectares nationwide. Field inspections are being carried out to identify and resolve obstacles to accelerate implementation, Nabian added.
