A senior official has underlined the need for provincial revenue generation to fund state-backed housing projects, the National Land and Housing Organization said.

Hamid Banaei, a board member of the organization, told a meeting of its revenue committee that securing both cash and non-cash income streams in the provinces was essential for implementing supportive housing programs.

The session, attended by housing officials from Markazi and Isfahan provinces, agreed that provincial revenue plans must be executed within set timeframes and reported back to the national organization.

Banaei also called for continuous monitoring of provincial performance, stronger follow-up by the revenue committee, and greater coordination among local housing departments to fully achieve the organization’s financial goals.
