Managing Director of the National Land and Housing
Organization announced that during the first six months of the year 1399
(2020), all but one of the total 2007 cases of invasions made to 1061 Hectares
of governmental lands were promptly eliminated, due to alertness of the
provincial Protection Unit Forces; and further stated, “During the first half
of the year, the Protection Unit of South Sistan and Balouchestan Roads and
Urban Development General Directorate enjoyed the highest number of immediate eliminations
of invasion among the provinces.”

The Public Relations of the National Land and
Housing Organization reported that Ali Nabian talked about the extent of
statements executed by the Protection Unit of the National Land and Housing Organization,
“Within the first six months of the year, the total number of 371 rules
absolute, pro the Government, for the area of 479 Hectares were executed that
in this regard as well, the Protection Unit of Tehran Province has taken the
most action in terms of number by 54 rules absolute.”

Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development
stated that coordination and interaction of the Protection Unit with the
concerned bodies is quite positive, and further added, “The Protection Unit of the
National Land and Housing Organization has held 505 sessions with the top
security officials in the provinces, 331 meetings with the judicial
authorities, and the number of 299 interactive gatherings with the managers of
protection-security institutions in order to facilitate the execution of the
awards, missions, and training of the officers and the institution forces by
the commanders to receive training certificates.”

He also mentioned that the IVR (Interactive Voice
Response) system of 1656 has been established to manage land grabbing. Moreover
he asked the fellow citizens to call the four-digit number in case of
witnessing any invasion to government lands so that they would be able to help
the government to manage corruption and land grabbing.

It is to be noted that the Protection Unit of the
National Land and Housing Organization with 883 personnel in 35 General
Departments of Roads and Urban Development all over the country, is in charge
of protecting and securing government lands within the metes and bounds of the cities.
