Managing Director of the National Land and
Housing Organization, while offering condolences on the occasion of the
mourning days of Sayyid al-Shuhada' (Imam al-Husayn), announced
the communication of the instructions to intensify the protection of government
lands and affiliates during the Mourning holidays.

As reported by the Public Relations
of
the National Land and Housing Organization, while mentioning that based on the
previous experience, invading the government lands by the interferers during
Tasu’a and Ashura holidays is probable and expected; said,” Our commanders of
the Protection Force, in coordination with General Directorates of Roads and
Urban Development and in interaction with other judicial and law-enforcement
officials, are going to take required actions to estimate disciplinary and
security threats of the lands, as well as to assess the relevant tactics and
schemes in order to maintain optimal protection.”

While remarking that the instruction is effective
from August 27^th to 30^th 2020, Deputy Minister of Roads
and Urban Development stated, “Based on the instruction, the entire human
recourses, capabilities, and equipment of the Protection Units of provincial
General Directorates are on stand-by and all the required coordination has been
done with the heads of the Prevention Police of the provinces, judicial
authorities, and Roads and Urban Development General Director in order to
prevent any kind of encroachment, violation, and invasion on the protected
lands.”

Nabian by insisting that the required orders have
been prescribed to increase the quality of land security, notified, “Full
justification and training of all the personnel up to the last category in line
with land protection, equipment maintenance, respecting citizenship rights, and
avoidance of any provocative actions have been done and we hope to be able to
protect and secure government lands by observing all standards.”

It is to be noted that Protection Force of
the National Land and Housing Organization that is responsible for protection
and security of government lands under the supervision of this Organization, has
urgently eliminated more than 6,300 hectares of land invasion and executed 2,877
final verdicts covering an area of 5,243 hectares, worth 13 thousand and 160 billion
tomans since its establishment in 1394 (2015).
